Inviting Woodside Home

It was hard to imagine how this home could be improved upon.  The owner asked for a bit of a "punch" at the entry....

... with the addition of new, colorful perennials and ground cover, guests are welcomed with an array of color.

The fastest, quickest "fix" to update your homes appeal is to load containers with an assortment of plants that have fun together.

The patio needed a makeover...

Shrubs such as Choisya (Mexican Orange), Lavender, Shrub Roses, Lambs Ear & Salvia were all used for their ability to thrive despite HOT sun.  Each plant will grow to window height before summers' end.  English Laurel flanking windows on either side.

San Francisco - Terraced Flat

Woodside Garden Charmer - May 2013

AFTER "garden staging", this Woodside home was listed for sale and sold within one week.  The gardens were planted by the owners years ago with great care for shrubs, grasses and perennials that were deer resistant and would have alternating blooming cycles.  For the last several years the house was rented and the gardens were in complete disarray.  Hard work, pruning shears, and redwood fir bark gave it a much needed lift.

A shaded Townhouse deck in Palo Alto. The owner wants to take advantage of the warm Spring days ahead, by making this an "outdoor room". Some ferns, perennials, and climbing jasmine and planted pots will make this a deck a room to enjoy!

A lovely home in Menlo Park, CA with a very small yard needed a quick, inexpensive "fix". We used all of the plants in the existing clay pots, added a few bags of redwood chips and 4 hours later, the house was ready for business. The house sold over asking price in less than a day!!!

Half Moon Bay. This house was ready to go on the market, but needed a bit of "curb appeal". We removed the hedges, and made the driveway center the focal point by adding a "Stella" Magnolia tree and deer resistant perennials.
